Wandering Ox Dojo’s Fall Sesshin is at Roselidden Farm, Trevenen Bal, Helston, Cornwall, UK. Accommodation for the weekend (dojo/kitchen/showers) will be in the Long Barn, the Hayloft, and training can take place on the grounds. The facility for campers/tents is available.
These beautiful granite buildings are in an area of Cornwall famous for Tin mining during the 1500s up until the 1850s when the buildings became a farmhouse and piggery. During World War II, the Ministry of Defence leased the buildings as Officer accommodation for the Royal Naval Air Station at Culdrose. Today the buildings have been fully converted, creating a sustainable community centre ideal for Sesshin. The buildings provide facilities for teaching the local community Zazen, T’ai Chi, Shodo and Yoga.
