Hara Development Drop-in

Spring Sesshin (UK)
We are holding an intensive seven-day training called sesshin in the UK. We welcome beginners and long-term students to join.

Fall Keishin
This is a 4-day online intensive training format we call keishin (繋心 pronounced “kay-shin”) or “to connect the mind.”

Zazenkai (online)
This is a one-day intensive training lasting 7am-12pm CST (2-7pm CET in Europe) designed to prepare students to participate in keishin. It will be run by senior students. Students will train separately at home, tethered together through the Zoom. It’s a great opportunity for boosting your training.

Winter Keishin

Fresh Talks: Surangama Sutra
In this series, the teachers of Chosei Zen will bring to life through their own experience the important texts in our lineage. In April, Ginny Whitelaw Roshi will focus on Surangama Sutra. Delve into the sutra that shows how we get everything backwards, how that backwards thinking gets us stuck, and the best practices for flipping it around and seeing clearly (i.e., enlightenment).
