The Virtual Dojo is an online zendo (space for Zen) with daily meditation, real-time Zen training events, and resources for training at one’s own pace. All Wandering Ox offerings are anchored by Zen instructors in the UK and EU. We are part of Chosei Zen based in Wisconsin, USA. This page describes training opportunities well-tuned for time zones in Europe.

INTRODUCTION TO ZAZEN ONLINE CLASS
Want to learn the fundamentals? This “crash course” introduces Rinzai Zen seated meditation and hara breathing.
When: In Europe: First Sunday of the Month, 4-5:30 pm GMT / 5-6:30 pm CET
In 2024: 2/4, 3/3, 4/7, 5/5, 6/2, 7/7, 8/4, 9/1, 10/6, 11/3, 12/1
Materials Recommended:
Yoga mat or large blanket
Cushion or firm pillow(s) to sit on
Room that is quiet or has a door to prevent distractions
Enough room to enable you to stand and swing your arms
Laptop, pad, or smart phone that allows video calls
Internet connection and ability to connect to Zoom
