Hara Development Drop-in
In this Hara Development drop-in, Kenneth Setsuzan Kushner Roshi will continue his discussion of the hara and its role in Zen, based on issues that students raise. This drop-in occurs on the last Saturday morning of each month, after Daily Zazen.

Spring Sesshin
Spring Sesshin will be held at Daikozenji in Madison, WI. This is a formal 4-day intensive meditation training.

Spring Sesshin (UK)
We are holding an intensive seven-day training called sesshin in the UK. We welcome beginners and long-term students to join.

Summer Sesshin
Summer sesshin will be held at Daikozen-ji in Madison, WI. This is a formal 6-day intensive meditation training. Prior experience with meditation is strongly recommended.

Intensive Live In Period
This is one week that is set aside for an intensive live in period of training. For anyone who wishes to go deeper in their training.

Fall Keishin
This is a 4-day online intensive training format we call keishin (繋心 pronounced “kay-shin”) or “to connect the mind.”

Fall Sesshin
This is the annual sesshin when we encourage older students and beginning students to join in the training. Depending on the condition of the participants, we modify the format so that all can train hard.

Zazenkai (online)
This is a one-day intensive training lasting 7am-12pm CST (2-7pm CET in Europe) designed to prepare students to participate in keishin. It will be run by senior students. Students will train separately at home, tethered together through the Zoom. It’s a great opportunity for boosting your training.

Winter Keishin
This is a 4-day online intensive training format we call keishin (繋心 pronounced “kay-shin”) or “to connect the mind.”

Breakfast from a Zen Monastery
Experience a traditional Zen Monastery breakfast with Savor in Spring Green, WI. The meal, which centers around oatmeal and tea, will introduce participants to a monastic approach to serving and eating.

Winter Zazenkai is an overnight retreat held at Zenshinkan Dojo in Worcester, MA. This 12-hour training is an excellent opportunity for students to deepen their meditation practice and experience intensive yet transformative Zen training.

15 Minutes Zen Meditation x 12 Days
In the new year, Chosei Zen invites new students and newly returning students to join 15 minutes of online Zen meditation at 7pm CST over 12 days during January 2-17, 2025.

New Year Greeting
Spring Green Dojo will host an online greeting for the New Year on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 1 pm U.S. Central Time (8 pm CET). All are welcome to join by Zoom.
