REBECCA YAKUMEI RYAN
Rebecca Yakumei Ryan began Zen training with Whitelaw Roshi in 2014, was ordained as a priest at Chosei Zen in 2019, and received inka from Whitelaw Roshi in 2021. Ryan Roshi is Board chair of the Institute for Zen Leadership, a Board member of Chosei Zen, and a Zen Leader instructor. Ryan is a futurist, economist, and strategist serving the public sector, economic and community development organizations. She is the founder of NEXT Generation Consulting, has written numerous books and articles, and has held residencies at several think tanks and organizations. She is on the Executive Committee of the Association for Professional Futurists.
