Come join the work crew for our first phase of construction at Daikozen-ji.

Please join us for our next Daikozen-ji workday, which will take place on Saturday, July 10. The work that we are planning is critical. There is both indoor and outdoor work that we need to complete in order to be ready for the tenants who will soon be renting the downstairs offices. We hope that you can help us out.

In order to provide a safe working environment, we require anyone who participates in activities at Daikozen-ji to be fully vaccinated (defined as a minimum of 2 weeks after the final injection in the series) against COVID-19. This allows us to make wearing a mask optional. However, we continuously monitor closely CDC, state and local guidelines and we'll make modifications to our safety protocol if necessary.

The day will start with zazen at 7:00 AM, followed by breakfast. We'll also provide lunch. Please let us know (kkushner@choseizen.org) by July 8 if you plan to attend. That will allow us to plan for the meals. We'll end around 3:00 PM. If you do plan to come, keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately for it. And, bring work gloves and a water bottle.
