Remembrance Service

During the last year, many have grieved the loss of someone or something important to them. On April 7 after evening Daily Zazen, let's come together to remember.

Please bring a photo, memento or memory of someone you've lost over the past year. If there isn’t one person you’ve lost, sit with a larger loss that feels especially meaningful to you.

There is no special registration; we’ll use the same Zoom link that we use for Daily Zazen. After zazen, we'll each light incense and do okyo: Makahannya Haramitta Shngyo and Shiku-seigan-mon (p. 31 and 37 in the black Okyo book or download a pdf copy of the okyo book). Afterwards, people will be invited to speak about their loss, if they choose.
